FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

what is the minimum age? You can get certified from 10 years old.

How much time do I need to finish the PADI OPEN WATER COURSE on site? You can complete the course in 3 days.

Do I have to finish the course on consecutive days? That is not necessary. We offer the pool training as well as the certification dives 7 days a week, which allows you to plan your dive training around other activities. If you want to spread out your dive training over a full 2 week holiday for example, and have some days in between the dive training for other activities or just relaxing, that is fine with us.

Can I finish my course with you if I stay in a different hotel then the ones where your dive centres are located? YES, just let us know where you will be staying and we will inform you on the distance to our nearest dive centre.

Are the certification dives done from the beach or from a boat? All dives are boat dives. We take you to nice shallow dive spots where the conditions for completing your obligatory exercises are perfect. After we finish the exercises there is normally some time left to take you for a bit of fun diving along the nearby reef.

Can my travel partner(s) that is already certified, join me on my course dives? YES.

Can I do my certification dives while joining my certified diver friend(s) on a regular local dive or full day dive trip?
NO. For certification dives we need specific conditions > shallow area with sand bottom etc, therefore, we take student-divers to specific dive spots. These circumstances are not available during regular local dives or dives on full day excursions.

Do I need to bring any dive equipment? NO, we provide all dive gear that you need during the course, including mask/snorkel/fins and a wetsuit. The water is warm so we use 3 mm suits.

What do I need to bring? The prints of your e-Learning record, as well as 2 photos ( passport type size photos).

Anything else I need to get? You will need a PADI logbook and PADI RDP tables. If you already have them, fine, if not, you can purchase them with us.
