Most people when they do their IDC say it was the hardest two weeks of their diving careers. When the time came in march for me to start mine I was looking forward to it, but still a little apprehensive knowing that I will be making a huge impact on peoples’ lives. Sure it is a hard 17 days plus 3 days of examinations, but the amount of diving knowledge you gain from those 17 days is immeasurable. From the EFR course straight through the IE Examinations our course director Paul and our assistant director Lara made sure we were comfortable with all the diving theory and PADI standards we needed to know to be successful instructors. Not only did Paul and Lara make the course challenging for us but also fun and enjoyable. It was because of their hard work and dedication throughout the IDC that made all 7 of us confident and attentive instructors. Congratulations and good luck in your new roles as instructors; Alan, Amy, David, Nick, Alex, and Jacob. For anyone who is looking into a diving career I highly recommend Dressel’s IDC course. It will challenge you, make you laugh, cry and everything in between. But when it’s all over and finished the experiences you shared and the knowledge you gained will not be forgotten, and will definitely make you a better, confident professional instructor. Thank you Paul and Lara, and we wish you many more successful IDC’S in the months to come. With regards,
L. Witkowski, Dressel Divers – Padi Instructor as of March 23, 2014
