Take it all! Get to know the best Riviera Maya snorkeling sites in one single half day excursion! Two thrilling activities: snorkeling in a cenote (or freshwater cavern) and snorkeling in Akumal bay, will guide you through the natural wonders of the Riviera Maya.
The first stop takes you snorkeling at Akumal beach* where you can observe sea turtles and lots of different caribbean fish. The Akumal reef will be your playground for an hour and thousands of fish, turtles and rays will be your playground companions.
The second snorkeling stop is in Chikin ha, a cenote freshwater pond where you can observe stalagmites and stalactites formed millions of years ago. Through the wild green jungle you will arrive at this famous cenote with crystal clear waters.
* Or the Yal Ku lagoon which is more protected from the wind depending on prevailing weather conditions.
